Whilst we encourage having fun and want our members to have great experiences; we do ask that all members abide by the following Code of Conduct, and Kinship Rules.
Please note that the following apply to in-game, forum and group chat activities.
1) Show those around you the respect that you would expect from them.
2) Conduct yourself in a professional and honourable manner at all times.
3) Do not use excessive profanity or other abusive language in front of others.
4) Construct proper and meaningful sentences using correct grammar and punctuation and refrain from using “l33t” or “text” speak in game. Stay 'in character' at all times when using the /say channel
5) Encourage intelligent and amicable debate rather than arguement.
6) If someone offers you their help remember your debt to them.
7) Help an ally in danger as they may come to your aide when it matters.
8) Respect that there is a chain of command that must be adhered to.
9) Speak your mind if you have something important to say.
10) Have plenty of fun experiences and great adventures!
1) All members must maintain a valid email address throughout their time as a member of the Kinship. This is essential to maintain good communications.
2) Once accepted into the Kinship, all members are required to post a new thread on the forum to introduce themselves to other Kinship members. We encourage regular use of the forum to keep abreast of Kinship developments and important discussions.
3) Character history that includes details suggesting or confirming a relationship, other than friendship, with characters depicted in LoTR books or movies is forbidden. Kinship members are asked to be original in this area.
4) Sensitive information found on the Kinship Forum and Calendar, or any other private resource that is not for public consumption, shall not be communicated to those outside of the Kinship without permission. Any member found to have disclosed such information shall face possible ejection from the Kinship.
5) Any members found to be harrassing, flaming, or being unduly offensive toward other players or community members on third party message boards or chat facilities shall face possible ejection from the Kinship.
6) Any members found to be engaging in activities within the game that are against the LoTRO terms and conditions of use such as, but not restricted to; gold farming with bots, exploiting, hacking or harrassing other players shall be ejected from the Kinship immediatly.
7) All member will observe the Codemasters naming policy & server rules for Laurelin.
